and considering they are for such a wide range of cars(GM 1996+!?!?!?!?) Its kind of a dead giveaway that they aren't gonna do much. Maybe this thing you found will be different, but I doubt it

when I bought my superchips, they said +45 or so HP/TQ, and you can feel it because it is a completely different car without it.

I did a little searching on tests of this product. For some cars, they include an entire assembly that is larger diameter, thus the 41% more air claim. At best, the sensor may have a different range. For example, a sensor that has double the resolution would show half as much air as is really coming in at max. So if they used a resolution of, say, 105% of the stock one, you'd get a 5% lean condition at full throttle. As our cars use lambda to calculate stochiometeric, I imagine the car would just add the fuel back in based on the O2 result and adjust the long term fuel trim to compensate yielding an initial slight difference perhaps, but no long term difference. I call snake oil for the HHR Jet module.

That's what I'm thinking. I'll save up some money for a tune.
Right now the Mazda is under construction. The HHR is on hold. Thanks everyone!

How do you get a 45% increase in airflow with a larger tube and not increasing the throttle body ? Unless they mean theres 45% more airflow..'available'....I guess its good for bragging rights..
