I know being a 2.2 HHR there is limited power to be had. Ive had a supercharged miata, a big block pinto, a civic with a healthy dose of nitros, and my share of muscle cars and hot rods, and I currently have a SS/SC Cobalt, and my HHR LS. It really makes me sad that there is not more power options for the HHR, Im not going to go out and get an SS HHR. I just keep hoping that the tech will come along, so I can boost my LS 5-Speed. If you have never driven a boosted car, I highly suggest you do so!!! NOW!!! Anyways on my hunt for more push out of my 2.2 I saw these cams on summitracing.com anyone have or have herd or anyone using these on an HHR.

Same here, have had numerous badass cars with huge HP. I am just going to cruise my HHR and enjoy it without tearing it apart over and over when things break.

It all matters what year you have when it comes to the cams. You can put them into a 06 but they won't work for an 07-08. You can actually get different stages of cams, but only the stage one will work with out tuning. Tuning is finally done for the cobalt 2.2, but has yet to be released to the hhr.

Aww yes tuning.... Still havent found a good place out here in Northern California that can tune for poo!!! Now that the HHR/SS is out I wonder if anyone is going to try a computer swap? If thats even possible? I would boost my LS this weekend if I knew of a way..... Just seems like cams are the next logical step for power for me.. Anyone making any real power with an non-SS HHR yet??
