Cool GMPP Intake installed.....

I installed my GMPP cold air intake this morning. Also added some chrome pieces on the top of the fuse box and bcm, these came from American Car Craft. (Nice little touch) I have a 1:00 appointment to have the CGS axel/back stainless muffler installed....I sure like the look under the hood. I hope I will like the muffler as much.....Ohno (Rick)

Sweet Rick! Reset your control module, and see how she runs. I know that it made a big difference for me. I wish I'd have told you to stopwatch it 0-60 before you installed the new parts. We'd then have a comparison.

Nice hex screws for the lid hold-down.

I like the sound of the HHR with the intake, but stock exhaust. That way cruising, highway, light throttle it is as quiet as stock, but when I get into it the car moans and growls. Let us know how your muffler comes out.

Oh yes, give that oil neck a half twist just like you would an oil cap, and it'll come right out. The existing cap will go right in, but I bought an LS small block factory plastic "Mobil 1" cap.

God Bless, and congrats, Marc

Reset your control module,
I was wondering, I have installed a new Header, GMPP Catback, and a CAI filter, once I Reset your control module (by removing the ecm fuse on my 2009 for 30min), will I need to get it tune, or will I need to Reset my control module once a week.

It wil only learn back anything that goes beyond the factory settings,, you should still feel quicker responce and stuff....but to keep all of it..yes..all the above.. tune if you don't want to reset all the time...but try it first...then tune..make it even better and doesn't cost that much. You'll get a bigger increase then with ALL the parts you already added.

Well you should recognize them...that's my GMPP CAI there

I sold it and the CGS Exhaust to him a few weeks back.
