GMPP vs Magnaflow

Hello everyone,
Im new to this site, just signed up woo!
Any HHr meets in Ontario, Canada?

So I have a 2008 LS with 55,000km (weak lil guy) and I added the Airaid intake (more growl when accelerating makes me happy). My question is which would be better to gain a little more power (i know not a lot) and sound..i want a low growl. So im asking has anyone tried either or both or have any comparisons between the GMPP or Magnaflow cat-back system? Is it even worth it? (Im still under my extended warranty period, so i may wait till thats up)
Thanks in advance :)

plus i hear a cobalt supercharger can be added to this engine..is this correct? if so, how? anyone talk about this in another forum? thanks

Welcome to the site, I think you asked just in time they are throwing a big shindig up there, check with PyroPanel. https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/general-hhr-4/hhr-nationals-will-now-televised-get-tv-42121/

You dont need a muffler, you need a tune, I got one from a Fella named Vince, it runs a lot better.

Hi Skyline: The Trifecta Tune is the best bang for the buck, I got mine done by a member "nighttrain" this year at a GTG in Kentucky. You will want to get all your mods done like the Magnaflow before the tune. I have a Magnaflow and a 2.4 intake manifold on my 2.2. There is a annual GTG in Niagara falls next weekend "HHR NATIONALS" on Sat Aug 18 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, should be alot of HHR's there, over 40 last year. You can find the info on this site by "pyro panel", free entry, lots of prizes and fun, just bring non perishable goods for the caring cupboard. I will be driving down from the London area with another member to the GTG. Hope this helps, if you have any further questions just PM me.

according to HHR Boutique, they carry Gibson exhaust..anybody else know of them or have the cat-back system? The write up they have of it makes it seem to be better than the Magnaflow/Borla/CGS kit

multiple members have supercharged the 2.2l and 2.4l... you can purchase a whole kit or piece it together yourself(junkyard and what not)
