Exactly which codes did you get? A fuel level code? A fuel pressure code? An O2 code ? All these can be related or not.
If your pressure is low it’s most likely the fuel pump which can trigger the O2 sensor code.
it might be worth posting the exact codes , and just the code such as P0449 or what you see on the code reader screen, don’t worry about the description, we’ll figure that out for you.

Has the ECM and/or the fuse box been touched?
Check fuse #33 under hood.
Check all of the wires for fraying or melting
The HHR only has 1 bank and #2 O2 sensor is after the cat. It is responsible for the P0420.
Check the ECM connector, the thing the fuel pressure and fuel level sensors have in common is low ref from the ECM. That is the tan wire on pin #24.
There is a chance that the cat is toast.

yes. The ECM is the larger module under the Darth Vader hood.
The top connector:

Number 3 is the ECM:

And here’s a tip, tighten the 4 , 7 mm bolts in the fuse box, the 2 halves can vibrate loose and cause havoc with the connectors underneath
These 4 bolts, they need to be tight! Real tight!

When was the last oil change? The VVT solenoids may be clogged up
