No codes on mine snap on scanner how do I reset thottle body I'm sure thottle body is what causing problems

 

New throttle bodies are not that expensive. Resetting is just letting the engine idle for 10 minutes.

 

Did you clean the throttle body? If so did you move the throttle plate?

 

I think that's what problem is going to order new tb just curious at 60mph what is everyone's rpms at? I'm at 3800rpms doesn't seem right

 

I wouldn't think the condition of the throttle body could affect shift points.

 

Me neither, but corrosion in the pins at the TCM could be the root of this evil!

 

So car still all over place nd not shifting just sits at 4200rpms for good min before it shift getting 19 mpg checked for codes again got fuel pressure sensor no other codes went to dealer got oem thottle body oem pedal sensor nd oem fuel pressure sensor new fuel cap going to install this weekend that don't fixthis pos I'm trading it in for new chevy van

 

Well you should start van shopping now then. Fuel system is not going to fix transmission shift points.

 

Yes but thottle body nd pedal sensor might had few ppl say it reset an fixed similar problem was 300 dollars in parts from dealer so not bad worth a shot

 

Well returned parts an bought 2 brand new chevy city expresses. I smelt something real bad like rotted eggs yesterday, then today blew a hole out the side of the flex pipe bet cats are bad an that why car doing what it's been doing I appreciate everyone thanks for the help
