I'm still tuning Blue! And you're correct, no money in it! Been playing with grandma's HHR. While not nearly as exciting, there's more power to squeeze from everything. Since it's a rebuild I'm going to look for a supercharger once I finish a few projects I have started!

You're gonna have to jump on parts as they pop up available!

Correct - After CJ passed they posted they were no longer supporting the 2.2, 2.4 HHR. Maybe he was the only one who interested in tuning them? - I know he did my LT.

Old CJ was in the middle of preparing a tune for Oldblue, unfortunately he passed away before he completed it.

So in your opinion what's the next best step ???

I think they should Temporarily re consider both the 2.4L and the 2.2L.

I would bet there has been a growing number of HHR owners that because of the time that has elapsed since CJ and Vince shut things down .. would cherish now being able to get a Trifecta Tune.
I know I would buy one or two for my HHR's.

Anybody on the Forum know Vince well enough to call and run it by him ??

You could buy mine its Trifecta tuned.

Might try Cortex.....I'm happy with it on my black SS....It was much easier to get done compared to the 9 retries we did on my blue SS.

Could you tell me where you bought your Cortex Tune.

Several location on the web but just a crap shoot to know if they are OK.
I cannot find the Cortex Mfg. web site either.
Do they sell direct?

Do you need a Lap Top or special cable to install?

Talked to Trifecta.
This is what I was tolled by Michael.

Thanks for the follow up. We do not. We no longer officially support the 2.2L and 2.4L platforms. Meaning, the packages are no longer specifically available to be sold via the store. We can still decide to tune a setup like this at our own discretion. We should need to have details on the build and then I'd pass this along to the engineers and they would decide if they want to take it on or not.

So it sounds like it is one by one case. But you still can get it done.

I talked to Michael about 4 months ago on tuning a 2.2L Auto Stock.
He said that he thought they could still do it and gave me a price of around $598. He did not elaborate on whether that included the cable or anything else. He said to let him know but when I tried to get back to him I could not get a response. I tried about 6 times .. still no response.
I am not very excited about trying to make it work without a total commitment.
A real let down......
