Scanner Recommendations??

Hello All,

Any recommendations for code scanners?? - I'm looking at either the Equus 3100c or the Actron CP9145. I've got a cheap code reader now but am looking to upgrade...Any experiences or recommendations??

Thanks,
John

I bought one of these, it plugs into your laptop, has 8 or 9 scan programs to try for free.

Call your Snap-On dealer and grab a Solus.

Better yet, a MODIS!

Yah I'm biased!

the Equuis is a good one I have the older version of the 3100. The new one tells the code and the description on the screen, Wal Mart has them along with just about every auto parts store around, should come in around $99-$130.

Thanks for the replies...I have a code reader now but it won't let me access anything other than fault codes and for some stuff you need real time data. I miss the days when you could use a paperclip to read the check engine light!!!
