All I would like to know if what SoCal was referring to would be available for the 2.2. If it is only going to be available for the 2.4, then the others would like to have alternative options. Particularly with a new model such as the HHR, the options are not many unless we can find something that can be custom fit. I would just like an air intake kit that can provide me with a little more HP. So I am definitely open for suggestions at this point. Not trying to race it, but wouldn't mind giving my little 2.2 some ammo to conquer going up hill without a lot of struggle if at all.

And I just don't have a firm answer on this until development is complete. Besides more dyno testing, the cold-air separator plate has to be manufactured, and packaging, etc. needs to be finalized. It takes a lot of work to bring a new product to market - I'm as antsy as everyone else.

We're just going to have to wait until it happens.
Then I can comment on 2.2L fitment/performance for certain.

Sounds good. Thanks for keeping us updated SoCal. I would really like to add some extra horses to my engine without killing any of the gas mileage.

We'll try to make it happen - if there's any way we can.

In the meanwhile...can I interest you in some Magic Beans?

I'll take 3, a window trick manual, and an Ebay power module please!

I'm sorry, the Window Trick Manual is a "dealer only" item.

is the SS spoiler considered a performance part? at any rate they are cosmetically. I am keeping my eyes peeled at the wreckers for one.

This thread died in 2006, but I’ll leave you question about the SS spoiler here. Happy hunting in the boneyards.
