Both 2.2 & 2.4 are great motors..

But I gotta add: "There's no replacement for displacement"...

Cause I'm a bit partial to my 2.4 & loving it !!

Thank you for all the advice.
I got the 2011 Silver HHR LT 2.4 and absolutely love it. Excellent car, very versatile, great on gas and looks amazing.
Still adding little things to spruce it up.

I regularly get 32mpg with my 2.4 and have gotten as high as 34. I don't run it hard though. Great little motor I think!

I'm at 99,000+ miles on my 06 2.4L auto and have had no engine issues.
