Have a hard time getting it into 5th. Sometimes goes in fine but usually seems like not going all the way in and it'll skip and grind. Is there some adjustment of linkage possible or is it a syncro or something?

 

Maybe a stretched shifter cable, bad synchro not so much, more likely the start of an issue with the clutch slave cylinder. It sounds like the clutch is slow in disengaging, does it occasionally hang up in the lower gears?

other gears are fine. just 5th acting up.

 

Clutch is fine everything is ok. This started after doing a kinda hard run on a dirt road. Rapid shifting and it was spinning in all gears. Next day had this problem LOL

 

Have the cgs intake and bassani cat back. Also put gold Chevrolet emblems from a 57 chevy trunk on the fenders looks and sounds nice. HAs been a good buggy but I wonder if I didn't break something getting on it on the dirt road, was shifting pretty hard I hope its only stretched cable but don't know how to tighten it.
