Brake Change

I am going to change my front discs and pads on my HHR ,I am thinking of going with EBC drilled and slotted discs (#GD7375)and their RED STUFF ceramic pads(DP31763C).Has anyone else tried these brakes,I would like some feedback. What about the brake pad and disc change itself ,I am planning on doing it myself,is there anything special I should know before I start,is this an easy project for the weekend mechanic or should I leave it up to an expert.I have changed my own brakes before on other vehicles.

I used EBC Green stuff and powerslot slotted rotors on my old Jetta and the Impalla... really good combination and very low dusting.

Can't speak about the HHR, or the EBC disks though, sorry. The Impalla was at least a straight forward application... no hidden surprises.

Yep... and from what I've heard from everybody he's really cool to work with. Good service, fast shipping... I don't think I've heard any negativity about Truckshop, come to think of it.

Just wanted to follow up on my brake change. The brake pads and rotors were ordered from AutoParts Warehouse and they did a fantastic job ,they arrived on time.I did the work myself and found it to be a very easy job.As for the results ,they are fantastic, after the 300 to 500 mile break in I can honestly say that they make a big difference compared to stock.I also want to mention that I had my stock rotors refaced 3 times and got very sick of them.If anyone is thinking of this combination go ahead they are FANTASTIC.
