Thanks,I am a newbie,I was a member of the other club before but I couldn`t understand the dues they wanted to collect so I switched and I am happy I did,this is a much better site.I just checked the Denso website and they give a gap of .044",I just have to check if this is equal to the 1.0 to 1.1 mm I talked about before.The Canuk!

0.044" = ~ 1.12 mm

Thanks for the answer,I guess I`ll go with .043" which should be very close to spec.The Canuk!
P.S. I`ll let you know how they work out performance wise.

Follow up on the Denso plugs,the car runs great with these new plugs ,feels very smooth on take-off and acceleration seems to be better,it`s hard to tell the engine is running at stop lights,I hope this helps others to make the jump to Denso,you can`t go wrong.The Canuk!!

The owners manual says to use a gap of 0.042 inch (1.06 mm).

It doesn't say if that is for all plug brands or if it is specific to AC Delco.

Let us know how the Denso plugs are. I switched to Autolite, as per recommendation from Mike (SoCal) and they are unbelievable. He did comparison tests and they were incredibly better than the stock AC plugs. I find it hard to believe that anything could be better, but I am certainly listening:smile:
