e3 Spark plugs
Somebody have installed these spark plugs on a HHR?
yes , did not last long 18,000 miles and I had issue with sputtering and missing, I swapped back to AC Delco's no problem since, 32,000 miles ago
I bought these, had over 20,000 missfires pulled themout and bought AC Delcos, no more missfires, they cost more than the AC delcos, its better to stay with the the originals.
Great advice...have only heard bad things about those plugs, told me not to put them in a lawn mover, have only heard good about the stock replacements.:twothumbs:
Like I tell people at the store, Delco's came in the car for a reason.
Put a set in today. 2.4 , 81k like the way they feel before this auto lite double platinum gave me the best results. I'll see how long they last.
Hate to say it, but you'll be winding in a set of Delco Iridium plugs before you know it. These engines were built around, and tuned, for the Delco plugs.
Many have gone before you, and many have found out the hard way(misfires, poor performance), that despite what all the alternative plugs claim...they just wont work. All that being said, :welcome8: to the forum! |
Buy the Delco. There is nothing to gain here that you will really see of feel.
These are more a placebo effect. These are like the Split fire plugs and not worth the effort. |
This is pretty much true of any late model GM engine.

In fact I have seen Honda run like carp on a Autolite an nothing more than a change to NGK will fix them. This has been true for years. |
