Ecotec goes racing!

I was reading this Midget racing magazine at work

& caught this article

about them trying electonic fuel injection for the first time in midget racing. The engine they chose was the 2.4 Ecotec! It seems that the 2.4 is powerful & gas sipping at the same time. The article talked about the development of the engine with GM engineers to make an affordable engine package for budget minded midget racers. The current midget engine package is based on a Ford Focus. The Ecotec is faster & uses way less fuel.

Great to see! We've also helped out Ecotec installations in a huge variety of "alternative" vehicles like this one...sand rails, Lotus and Deuce Coupe replicas...we're even working on a motorcycle version!
