Gibson Exhaust from socallhhr

Hey guys i was wondering if anyone has seen the catback setup from socalhhrs? and if anyone has heard it or put it on their vehicle? I am interested but want to get some feedback before i pay $$$

I'm waiting until I see a dyno chart. I can't believe a company would put an exhaust system on the market but not post dyno results. I am still kind of leaning towards Magnaflow at this point.

did magna flow come out with whole catback system?

Here's my two cents: the Gibson system sounds nice and deep - the Magnaflow cat-back sounds way too "ricey" for me. It's not even a close race. The Gibson tech's are telling me 12-15hp is what they're seeing. I haven't seen a dyno chart yet.

If you think the Gibson cat-back is expensive...you might as well forget about the Magnaflow! http://forums.ngemu.com/images/smili...1/rotflmao.gif

hey socal what is the big difference in the systems that you carry? just durability? I want to replace mine soon and need some advice. Thanks

SoCalHHR 03-03-2006 07:23 PM

Some people like stainless steel - but the aluminized version is really just as durable.
I wouldn't spend the extra $$$ unless you're a "snob" about it. It boils down to looks.

With either Gibson system, you won't see a butt-ugly (can I say that here?) muffler hanging down either (it's mounted forward).

(*Sorry to offend the "snobs".) :D

Not true. In environments where they use salt on the roads the aluminum will rot out on you withing a few years where as stanless won't. Salt is highly corrosive on aluminum. That may be the case in California or Texas but that doesn't hold true in snow country. It's not all about looks. ;)
