Is there a way of adding 30 HP to my 2006 HHR? If so what do i need to do ?

but seriously... 4,2,1 headers, good exhaust, crank pulley, intake might do it...
then tb, cams, and finally up the compression...

 

The easiest way, and most cost efficient is to have it tuned. I've got the same model as you and had mine done by Tune Time, a vendor here, and the results were amazing!

 

A Fart Cannon and Type R sticker add at least 50hp.

 

 

Why only 30? Header, exhaust, intake, injectors, and tune will probably get you there and more.

 

With out FI the injectors are pretty much worthless. It most likely wouldn't get your 30 HP but it could feel like it or more, i would do H/E/I with a tune then move on to some weight reduction and some light weight wheels.

 

Just spray it........75-85 extra hp at the flip of a switch.....and way cheaper than all those other mods....

 

I/H/DP/E and a tune netted me 40whp and 31wtq.
