I'm not aware of any 2.4 Cobalts that came from the factory with a cold air intake. If it's aftermarket, there should be information on it available on the interwebs.

It's an aftermarket but branded for Cobalt just didn't know if it would fit the Hhr 2.4 also, haven't found much online other than k&n and some other high dollar ones, not really wanting to pay that price for minimum gains if any

What brand CAI are you looking at?

Airaid

CGI is a nice looking setup, still sucking ing warm engine compartment air

Another view of Airaid

CGS seems like a fit for both HHR and Cobalt

That's what I'm wondering if will fit, can't see paying 250-400 for possibly no gains

Those are not cold air intakes. The Airaid unit is.

If it's not drawing air from outside of the engine bay, it's not a CAI, and so no gains. Even with a CAI, probably no gains without tuning.

You can make your own, Oldblue has done so before.
