I am new to the hhr network but I have got my hhr to the very end of the turbo setup process. I have a t3/t4 with air to air intercooler. Made my own intake maf housing. Put #80 injectors and am currently running e85 but after all this work I'm now getting p0606 codes after sending my ecm and tcm into zzp for tuning. At first it was throwing lost comm with tcm after grounding it to frame its now stuck in limp mode with p0606.

Overlook the mess. Im not going to put much into looks untill i get functionality.

Mostly like fuel starvation without a HPFP.

Get rid of the "farcebook ground"; it is dangerous and completely useless.
P0506 means that the ECM is not programmed or the connection to the throttle actuator is balky.
My first guess is that you bent or pushed a pin or 2 in the ECM connector. Maybe ZZP messed the ECM up.
Communication codes usually caused by wiring or fuses.

I wouldn’t necessarily agree. I think a HPFP would only be needed if it was a direct injection engine. Since the 2.4 is not DI like the 2.0 LNF in the SS, the regular fuel pump with upgraded injectors should work. Just have to get it tuned correctly.

The 55 to 60 psi in tank pump won’t keep up. So perhaps a higher capacity electric fuel pump

They keep putting me off until the 2week mark was over so I couldn't get it fixed. But I found were I had my ac disconnected beside it is a wire that I have no clue where it came from. I'll get pics soon as I can but would my ac be causing a PCM fault code?

I have another pump for it. I was under the impression that just injectors and a tune would be all I needed but I went ahead and got another performance pump but I have poured so much money into this and I just want it driving before I go adding more money into it. I did a continuity test on it and I narrowed it down to the bottom plug (grey) but I haven't got a clue as to where exactly that harness leads yet. But I'm going now to test each individual wire on that plug maybe I will narrow it down more.

What's the significance of this 2 week period?

if you're making 12 psi or more boost.

Ok I have the 80 psi injectors already. I'm not trying to run 12 psi I have it by spring in the wastegate and the boost controller it's sitting around 8-10 I'm not trying to run high boost. Honestly I just wanted to make my hhr original exclusive to me. But I bought the car from my mother and her husband actually ran it with the valve covers leaking like crazy. After replacing every single part of the front end I mean all the time rods a frames the bearings I literally mean everything. I had put more into the car than I wanted so I just kept going. I bought a turbo for a different car (tsx). But figured wth. So I got the wires that I was talking about ran to the ac now while doing this bear in mind the whole engine is covered in oil I tore the motor down to clean it all and then my journey began. I just found a ground wire loop like wire leading to my fans it literally looks like it starts halfway down the harness and loops back into itself. It is exposed on one side so I'm in the process of inspecting my entire harness now. See the car actually starts and runs perfect for about 5-10 seconds or so then engine power reduced kicks on and soon after it totally shuts down. At first it was lost comm with TCM. Not sure what I had done to get it corrected or not but after several different solutions I'm now having the p0606 code and the same exact problem. Runs fantastic then reduced power.
