I was able to snag a 06 manifold off a 2.4 and I'm wanting to use it on my LE9. It looks like the throttle bodies are different between the new and old manifold. Now I know there are adapters to use the manifold on a 2.2, but I was wondering if those adapters worked on a LE9 too, or if I need it at all.

 

The LE9 is a flex fuel version of the LE5 . The intake manifold might be different at the throttle body , and the throttle body has different wiring connector

Yeah, I saw that they are actually quite different. I think old le5 TB is actually an 8-pin if OReilly's is halfway accurate. My main concern is whether or not I can just bolt my newer 2.4 TB on the older manifold.

 

Why? Are you going to learn how to program the ECM?

 

The bolt pattern appears to be the same
