Just curious where it is exactly or how long it takes :P

i know on my cobalt takes 2 min to change, believe mine is bad wanted to use my wifes from her hhr to make sure i'm not throwing $65 out window, before i get a new one and plug it in.

people on the cobalt boards are saying i blew intercooler, don't see how only pushing 21 psi. Or charge piping is cracked. I looked over it all, don't see any issues.

again rather just borrow just to ensure :)

 

Without looking up parts numbers, I would think they would be different sensors between a normally aspirated HHR and a turbo charged Cobalt.

But the question is, why do you think MAF sensor ?

Where's the HHR MAF sensor ? Just look. It's as easy to find as the Cobalt one.

 

was coming up same part number when looking up. Was pouring out smoke fouled out plugs, raw fuel smell. Unplugged it and it ran fine with out any stumbling or stalling out

 

I think there might be more issues than the MAF sensor by that description!

 

The MAF should be in the intake tube just before the TB.

The MAP is just under the rail, you'll have to take the TB off to get to it.

 

The mass air flow sensor is located in the front of the engine cover. There is a wire connection that is right after the intake tube connection, disconnect the wire and I believe it is screwed in with two screws right where you removed the wire connection.

You can change the air filter at the same time if you want by removing the whole engine cover which contains the air filter and will provide easier access to the sensor.
