MAF question

Does the HHR use a standard MAF common to any other cars?

I am still having my problem with the MAF/MAP/TC code. The dealer says my wheel sensors are fine, and that the problem is the MAF sending a code to the computer which shuts down the traction control. I have already put in a new MAP, and switched to an oiless AEM air filter and cleaned the MAF, still with no success. I called Tunetime to see if they had any ideas, and Matt told me the MAF could be either defective or damaged from the oil from the old K&N filter. But before shelling out money for a new MAF, I want to be sure that will solve the problem. I am going to see if I can find someone to borrow theirs for a few minutes just to see if it solves the problem.

Lee, doing a swap would indeed be a good strategy to test at this point.

Did you ever check the wiring harness at the EVAP valve for any rubbing or damage?

Yup, everythingl looks fine there. I was hoping that cleaning the MAF would have solved the problem, but no luck. What a pain in the butt.

I really dont understand why only some of us have this problem
