Adjust the rear brakes, if you are talking vibration when braking, or did you "forget to mention" that's only when driving in reverse at 35 MPH!
Jeez, you are all over the place; 1st you said NOISE only when "pedal to the metal" then "it does it at all RPM levels". Never did say if standing still or moving, only mention "slight vibration in the steering wheel " after several suggestions, that were probably off track.

Is the flex pipe broken? No need to fix if that is not the problem.

State ALL of the symptoms at the same time and save everybody some angst.

Chill - Don is trying to help you out - and he is right, sort of. Either list all the issues at the start, or even better I think you will likely find that you will get a better response if you separate your issues into different posts. It really does save a whole lot of confusion and misread posts.

the car does not stall, stammer or hesitate in any way has no loss of power and performs as always....not really to concerned about it other than I have never heard it before??? any ideas?....89,000 miles, oil changes on time and I run 93 octane all the time....
Have you thought about taking it into the dealership just to have it check out? I just don't want it to be more serious then it is.

tires worn funny(from those parts being worn) will take away the smoothness of your ride...I don't know if vibrate is the right word..

as for a vibration, a bad motor mount and tranny mounts can make a vibration too
