OBX Exhaust Manifold Header 05-08 Chevy HHR 2.4L Ecotec

Saw this on ebay. Looks nice, wondering what others thought.

Price seems way too low for a header and dp.

If I knew it would fit, I'd get the JBP header.

Same here the price seems low but wouldn't you have to worry bout the stainless turning blue being polished stainless from the heat? Very nice though. Definitly a good find.

Seems like it's missing something--pre-cats?

I had an OBX header on my Cavalier, lasted 6 years without a problem, just make sure to use a new GM gasket and make sure you portmatch the header to the gasket.

I am considering this set-up however the "cat-less" downpipe is my only concern. I can get it "fauxspected" since NC isnt that strict on it, and i have family with an inspection liscense, but I would probably add a small cat somewhere in it if I get this set-up.

Yeah, I saw those and thought seriously about it but was not sure if they hooked to the stock cat or if they did away with it. If the cat goes away I can't use it..

Just a suggestion......

But if anyone is considering this exhaust for their HHR, you probably should e-mail or call the seller to confirm a fit to the HHR.

This "header and assembly" may be a universal fit to the 2.4 ltr, but will not fit each model the 2.4 is used for......without modifications.
