I have been looking for a place to mount a 2nd gage (besides the boost gage), and I thought about mounting to the steering column cover.

P.S. the link in the Cobalt addiction website does not work (says coming soon). Where did you guys find the mount?

I took some pictures this morning of the cobalt-Addiction column pod I installed with the Aeroforce gauge. I'm not that good at modifications but it did work and fit ok. The hardest part was making sure when mounted the turning of the steering wheel didn't rub on the mount. I had everything for a week or so and I was going to wait for warmer weather before 3m taping it down. But I couldn't wait any longer and did it this weekend.

I added the image of the installed gauge to my signature as I can't attach images to posts and don't have a url i can link to.

I do like the interceptor gauge it gives you much more info about you operation.

Mr redface, that looks good!

A couple of questions:
Does that location block the DIC at all?
What was the link for the pod?
Could you take larger photo of the view from your driving position?

I have been looking for a good place to mount an aeroforce gage and this may be the ticket.

Thanks in advance,

Thanks, it installed pretty easy with 3m tape.

It does block the DIC and you have to look around it. But since I commute with the car I found the info from the gauge was more inportant. Battery volts, engine oil temp, transmission temp, coolant temp, rail fuel pressure.

I took this picture about eye level driving position and zoomed in. I also turned on all the warning indicator lights to show what is blocked below the DIC. The fog lamb light is dead center behind the pod and blocked. The engine light is blocked too which is to the left of the fog lights indicator.

Here's the link where i purchased the pod
http://www.cobalt-addiction.com/performance.htm

So far this seems the best solution but I think I would have liked a duel on the pilar.

Hope this helps

Thanks Mr redface, that pic is exactly what I was looking for!
I had to look all over the place to find your response, I was just sure it was in the 2.0 section, and there it was in the 2.4 section
Anyway, I have looked high and low to find a dual pillar gage mount, but can't seem to find one. This mount looks good, but I really don't want to lose my DIC either.... Now, what to do?

I still can't get that link to www.cobalt-addiction.com to work? Have you tried it lately? If so it must be my computer?

Thanks again!
