You are not wrong... But.....
A coil only dumps as much current as needed to cause spark. If any particular engine design (high comp, nitrous, extreme RPM, etc.) is functioning correctly with coil "A" adding hotter coil "B" will not increase performance. The amount of current dump will remain the same for both coils.

Just a reminder, because you do know this...be careful with consolidated auto parts websites. They advertise WHAT FITS, not what is correct to OEM. Remember all the problems with shocks that fit the SS, but didn't meet the weight and pressure specs of the SS
Just went through that with replacement rear air shocks for an Aurora.
