I found a Cobalt tune for the 2.2 and the HHR SS, I clicked on that and found the 2.0, 2.2, and 2.4 tunes.
hmmmm at 12 years old and 456,000 klm would it be worth it?
Hmmm I wonder, I’ll wait for tax return season in a month or two.

I've been in contact with Martin with RPM Motorsports regarding the Stage 2 tune. He says the #24 lb injectors for the 2.4L are just barely big enough and can only supply adequate fuel for regular driving but can't handle any spirited driving. The result is the engine leans out. Thus they offer the GM approved larger injectors. They don't dyno tune. (That would require going to their location in AZ or a cooperating shop) Instead they ship a V-tuner with the injectors. You hook the V-tuner to your car and your wifi and then they remotely program your car with their tune.
There is no charge for the V-tuner unless you don't return it. If it isn't returned they charge it to the credit card used for the purchase but of course there's no real good reason to hold on to it. They also sell the tuner but it is tres expenseev!
Of course they won't guarantee what increase will be seen but he said they've seen from 12 to 28hp increase. I didn't ask and he didn't quote anything regarding mileage.
He was very helpful and replied to emails quickly if you want more information.

Agreed re: the torque. And while they don't dyno tune the car it would be nice if they would post before and after dyno charts. If the results are true that's the best advertising. Also if 12-28 hp is real it's easy hp/torque e.g. only having to change the injectors, no internal work, etc. The numbers seem in line with what people have posted about the Trifecta tune.

Nice... I'm still rocking the Trifecta tune, though.
