We replaced the rear suitcase with a magnaflow muffler. The exhaust shop believe there wouldn't be any improvement with replacing the stock resonator with a magnaflow resonator.

Mitz is pretty happy with the magnaflow, it has a good, though a bit loud, tone during hard acceloration, but stays quiet during cruise.

The tip itself also has an effect on the sound. the larger the diameter the louder it will be as it acts like a megaphone. Think we used 3" or 4" rolled tip

 

Thanks for the advice everyone... I will look into one of the options you all gave me. Just need a bit more growl out of it.
