For those who put on a header/manifold...
You could make a kind of spacer to go between them to keep the hose off the header. Something like a piece of rubber (exhaust mount type) with a couple metal washers on each end to keep thr rubber from melting. Might help. Like a rubber sandwich with washer bread.
I bought the Cobalt Addiction Header, because I knew you made it work, but there is a problem. My mechanic bolted it up jut fine...then noticed that there was a leak from the coolant line running behind the engine. The header tube for the #4 cylinder (driver's side) touched the coolant line just enough to cause it to leak at the "o" ring. Did you have this problem, and if you did how did you overcome it, I don't want to dimple the header if I don't have to, that could make things worse.
Please let me know, thanks.

Anyways.. the large coolant pipe/line that runs on the back of the engine, needs to be adjusted for your header doesn't press on it when you bolt it to the engine..
So the 3-4 bolts on each side/end of the large coolant pipe need to be loosen.. once loosen, slighty put the header back into position, and feel along where it it touching the coolant pipe.. rotate the coolant pipe so the header clears the coolant line..
Once that is done.. retighten the coolant line bolts you loosen, and finish the install of the header..
I've had no problems since...
