what cobalt ss parts fit

got a guy at work parting out his cobalt ss/sc and he wants to trade out a bunch of his aftermarket parts. What will fit on the 2.4? I am guessing exhaust, springs and ??? any help here. I dont want to pass on some potential good parts at really good prices.

told him we could just swap motors and he could go trade it in, dealer never looks under the hood.

Rear brake assemblies from the backing plates out. That would give you rear disc brakes:D

lug nuts, bulbs, and hood:lol:

the hood? why the hood?

Back to reality (the hood won't work) not sure about those rear brakes either, I think there is a mount on the axle for the calipers that you won't have. Not sure if the exhaust will without mods but it would be close

The sway bars should fit, you mentioned springs they will fit...... Wheels will fit (hard to trade in a car with no wheels though........)

I know he has the gmpp exhaust, sportline springs, 18" asa wheels and a few other things I wouldnt mind swapping. If they will work. I know the springs will for sure, the exhaust if I am not mistaken there is only 1 hangar that is different and the wheels bolt right up.

according to my research, the brakes will work as they use the same hubs. The mounting bracket you speak(and you are correct, but so am I) of is located after the backing plate, which should be between the hub and the wear they mount to the rear axel bar. Also, it has to be a08 or newer Cobalt because of the ABS, of course this research is based on what I need to get for my 2010 HHR.
