I am ordering factory 2007 Ebony molded carpet to install in to my 06 light gray interior.

That is going to go in at the same time I install the ebony seat covers.
I will take pictures before and after, and if all goes well, some pictures of the project as I do it.

This will give me what I wanted, interior-wise...I prefer the light gray over cashmere in my DSM 06...but I wanted ebony interior, which was not available in 06. I sat in a 07 orange 1LT before i bought my 06...and loved the ebony interior

...I wont be converting the whole thing, just the seat covers, and the carpet, and eventually maybe some more ebony interior trim...

a two-tone interior with ebony and gray instead of all gray, or all ebony.

 

Make sure to take notes of any special steps or hidden attachments and post as a how to for anyone else who is thinking of doing anything similar.

 

Im with you, the light gray carpet scared me. Went with an HHR with black carpet. Good luck.
