Any HHR in the South Bend IN Area

I just got of the phone with Tire Rack they need to look at an HHR to see what PIAA Wipers will fit. So if someone lives in the area and can get by there to have them look at your wipers then we all could get a better wiper for the HHR. Thanks

The sun in FL and I am sure in CA eats them up they only last about 1 year that is why I want to go to silcone wipers they last longer.

I never use the rear wiper - it will eventually ruin your back glass. Dirt and grit is deposited there daily from just driving. Turning on the wiper will grind in some sweet "arcs" that will never come out! The glass is very soft and pits or scratches easily.

In fact, I'm getting ready to "shave" my rear wiper!

You can always take it off and put in the "FAKE" turn handle.

I pulled the cover off the wiper base, took off the nut, readjusted the wiper so it rests on the bottom of the window and it is level. then put the nut and cover back on.

that really annoyed me and that was the 2nd thing i did to the HHR right after i put on the chrome wheels.

i really keep my rear window clean all the time, shoot what am i talking about, i keep my whole car clean all the time.

now to the thread
we lived in S Bend for a year in 1995 and then moved to Grainger in summer of 96.

Loved Grainger. Hated the weather there. YUCK

Worked at the Brasswind as Low Brass Manager for 5 years and had to move away cause my Dad was fatally ill and wanted my 2 kids to see their Gpa before he died. he lived 4 more years. i left a great job but my Dad was more important.
