Chevy HHR Network - Anyone know where to get a hood scoop for HHR SS?

I like it the BEST, I think it flows nicely with the HHR's hoods curves and is a nice retro cowl look.

But he is no longer making and selling them.
I got an email reply saying he maybe doing a Full Fiberglass Hood with it instead. He said there were problems with people installing it and they complained about seam cracks. :frown:
Thats POOR Installation on the buyers part, weather they did it themselves or had a bodyshop do it. :duh:

I had heard that a full hood was gonna be offered many months ago by others from him, guess he is still just saying he's making one in the next few months and hasn't so far.
I Doubt very much he is really going to make them.

As a former body and Fender Man, i know how to install it, wish he had ONE left when I had contacted him about it. :censored::cussing:

Yup. that's the Teazer Design hood. I'd be careful about getting anything from them. My experience was REALLY bad. They made a hood for me, not the same cowl, and it was destroyed in shipping. They shipped it freight without enough insurance to cover the cost. So it was refused and went back. Thankfully it was inspected before driver left. Took a month to get a replacement and it looked like instead of using a new HHR hood, the just fixed the trashed one. Kept getting two different stories from them. Finally got want I wanted and I'm very happy with it. I won't even go into the issues I had with the front bumper! :skull: I will say the the rear was a true bolt on, very easy.
