Has anybody installed anything into their auxillary glove box? I was driving the other day and opened mine up to get my sunglasses and realized that I could keep it open and it would not interfere with my line of sight (I'm 6'). I then spent the rest of my 30 minute drive to work thinking about things I could install in there, even changing out the latch and lift system to fit a min-lcd screen and stuff like that. I'm keeping my garage door opener in there for now, but there are so many other possibilities......

 

a screen or some gauges is what ive thought of.

 

I installed my Garmin GPS and an XM Sat radio,in mine,works great.I will post pics later.

 

Mine is so full with stuff I use daily, I couldn't convert it to anything else. It's so convenient. I love it!

I have my led underbody controller and switch for dvd-video installed in there. besides all my "goodies"

 

I posted a pic in my gallery.The box doesn`t close with the GPS installed but I changed the mounting system to come out easily.The cover does close with the XM radio installed.I also installed an external antenna for my GPS,which runs all the way from the glove box to the back of the car just over the back door.

 

I Have installed an A/f ratio gauge for tuning. A 2 1/16 Gauge in a metal universal bracket will fit in there and you can still close the lid.
