Best way to black/smoke all marker lights?

I am trying to figure out the best way to black/smoke out the all marker lights. I saw some people used vinyl and was wondering the best kind to get or where to get it. Idid see that there was a website selling head and taillight vinyl but it was $30 for a 1'x2' piece. (sure it can be found cheaper) I am also up for other options other than vinyl. Thanks for any help

I went vinyl as the light still shines through and no hassle from the cops. Plus easy to take off.

how bright do they shine through after you tint them?

This is going to be one of my next projects, and although i don't think the cops will hassle me here, they might when i go up to Michigan a lot, they are harsh in a couple towns i go to for certain things.

None the less, it looks fantastic, and really need to do it to isolate the yellow calipers, the front amber lens really interferes with the look.

the reflectors you cant see at all but when the side ones light up they look cool and smokey but they still are fully visible and they look back any other time

Also VHT night shade spray tint. Had that on a Saturn worked real well and was still very visible and you can put on lighter or darker coats for more or less light visible. Never had any problems with the cops an mine was pretty dark.
