Best way to remove the gold bow tie on the center caps?

I'm assuming the best way to remove the gold bow tie on the center caps is to polish them out? Are there any other methods of removing them, and no I don't want over lays, I'd prefer them full polished without a bow tie. Thanks

If you talking about the gold bow tie it is glued. You can try heating it a little with a hair dryer to soften the glue or double sided tape.

Mine definitely aren't glued on, the chevy emblem is raised on the center cap with a gold chevy emblem on the top raised part, looks like its painted on, or some type of plating maybe?

center cap looks much better just polished & no gold on bow-tie

Not sure if they are clear-coated ? but no matter. That would just polish off first..
