billet grill

Has anyone found a good quality grill? I see many on e-bay from $39 to $180 I know the old story you get what you pay for so thought would ask someone who has already bought one and is satisfied. Thanks for any response

Carriage Works is awesome if you don't mind cutting up your factory grille.

I've got Precision Billet upper and lower on mine. Looks really nice and easy to install. I got the Upper from www.autotrucktoys.com for $179.95 incl. shipping and I got the lower for $97.70 from www.hhrboutique.com incl. shipping. So all combined $277.65 but well worth it.

:thumb: Same here! Not sure from where mine came from, but I do know it was a set.

The cheaper selling ones on ebay cost quite a bit more for shipping.

I have the T-Rex grille. Got it from hhrboutique as well. A little bit more expensive, but worth it. There are fewer bars and they are spaced more evenly. The top bar matches the contour of the hood very well also.

Damn, I thought the CW was bolt-on replacement. I found most descriptions arent very clear on that, I want to keep the stock grill intact. Also, that factor seems to account for the major difference in price between different ones I see on ebay.

my ebay grille is identical in build and quality to T-Rex grilles. I bought both top and bottom for $65 shipped BNIB.

You have to to chop the top bar off your OEM grille and re-use it. You also re-use the piece of black platic on the back of the OEM grille that surrounds it.

Precision Billet on mine. I love it and it was an easy bolt on.

That's a good buy if you did.

All I know is that there's a clear difference between the Precision and T-Rex grilles. Ebay is a bit of a gamble, as the picture shown in the listing isn't necessarily the actual product.
