well here are a few more pics with a regular camera. i don't have the money for rims so i'm stuck with just blacking everything out like the bowties on the wheels front, back & steering wheel. I have a can of Nightshades to do the reflectors & tail lights & that will be it for a long time.
i know it's pretty plain compared to others & not the SS I SHOULD HAVE bought instead of my last car but it's the first car I LOVE to drive

Nothing wrong with not having an SS. I really am enjoying my LT Panel.. :thumb:

Are you gonna shave the badges ? Lil fishing line & they are off.. Mean & clean.

And perhaps some rear leveling springs ? Quick & simple..

Hey Brother the car looks great! If you are going for the blacked out look, I did the hubcaps on my friend Kris's car with spray paint. They have held up well after almost two years, heres a pic, it is the red aa5. Todd(Uma)

Looks good! I've never been a fan of painted grilles, but that is done well, and looks great. The fall edition headlights don't have tinted lenses, just the chrome backing has been tinted (if I understand correctly). Definitely worth looking into, it would look killer on your car.

Have you thought about just painting the inside area between the spokes of your wheels? If I could photoshop it I would. Years ago I did this to a set of Keystone Classics, same color as the body. They looked sharp and I got lots of compliments on them.

yeah I have but that would take some good taping & i'm not too good at it

cosmic1 02-02-2010 10:05 PM

Good tape and patience. Way back when my first wheel took me over an hour to tape, my forth took me 15 minutes.

great looking photos. I have been thinking about debadging mine as well, for you, it's all in preferences but I would at least remove the flex fuel one. Annoyingly large.
