Calling all ss owners
Can you post up a pic of how your spoiler is sitting? This is a picture of my SS spoiler sitting on my LT.... Not mounted yet but it is sitting "naturally" this way and seems to look pretty much on par. Can you guys let me know? I will be mounting using VHB tape and once placed it will NOT be adjustable.

There is a couple threads somewhere in regards to the "where" that you mount the SS spoiler. Try the Search method and you may find one.
If not, here's 2 pics from my gallery that shows the factory mount location. The bottom edge of the spoiler should be just about even with the bottom edge of the window washer sprayer nozzle. Looking at your pics, your's appears to be a tad lower than mine. Attachment 20131 Attachment 20132 |
Okay. Luckily I just layed the thing on there its not secured or anything. I was planning on using the washer nozzle as a reference point. Your pics are exactly what I was looking for. Lining the bottom of the spoiler and the bottom of the nozzle seems to be the best plan of action. Also, I will have to make a premium subscription for the awesome decal. ;)

Yep, your "plop" looks about right. Make sure it's straight, and nobody will be the wiser - assuming you paint it to match.

Looks good. You did just what I did. Lay it on and adjust it till it looks good.

Wow lving the paint job!!!! I got my ipcw tails installed just in time for hurricane Matthew. Maybe I am an outlier but I kinda like the spoiler being black and not paint matched. I think it'll look good against the other black accents like the tails stripes and rims. What would pull it all together is it I could finally make those damn roof racks black.

Would that be a spoiler alert?
|
HAHA YES!!!! I am quite disappointed in myself as I really should have made a step by step thread with pictures on how to install. Although very straight forward there were a few key barriers I came to while installing the lights. Cant wait to get the spoiler taped up and mounted and completed Greggs behind! On aside note; these lights are EXTREMELY bright compared to stock, and are not only worth it for looks but for safety as well.

RF2 - Really nice cut lines on the 2-tone. Almost looks like it could be in a '60s Batman episode. Wish I could do that!
