Chip Guards
Anyone ever replace the chip guards on the rear quater panels? I have an '09 with the clear plastic ones. They are in bad shape.

Check the part number thread for the part numbers. "Stone guards" if I remember right.
They peel off and self stick on. |

I did mine with clear vinyl like for a hood and bumper stone guard.
I bought a roll from Speedway Motors about $12.00. The old guards come off with a little heat gun heat and patience!! |

I may have running boards but the rear doors still get stone chipped!
You sir are welcome! |
I made CarMax put one on mine. I thought the bill I saw was only around $15-$20 each. They were paying so I didn't look close.
Of course, I never did figure how one was missing on a "never wrecked" vehicle. |
What about using clear plast-dip. Anyone try that?

You could be the first on the block!!

There is a spray on product made for the purpose. I saw it in the NAPA store.
