I don't know about the real metal. We used a very similar dash kit in my wife's, the brushed aluminum, no metal, just plastic. It looks okay, but before I spent the money for the chrome, email/call them and they should be able to send you a sample piece. then you'll kniow exactly what it looks like.

You might also check the place where I got my wood dash kit. They have a nice selection and have several options in chrome. They will even send you samples to check out.

yea they should do that, when I wa looking for seat covers for my moms van, they sent me samples of the colors and materials. I may have to get the 55 pc Carbon Fiber kit.

No it looks like its 3m taped in place but I may be wrong.

The one I got came with 55 pieces that stick on with 3M adhesive backing and an adhesive promoter. I test fit each piece and pre-formed it to the contour of the part it would be attached to. Put on a bit of promoter, remove backing and put piece into place and press it on to adhere. Took me about 3 hours to do the entire 55 piece kit (didn't use a couple pieces, as I have a 5spd with no sunroof and kit includes pieces for automatic with a sunroof)

Same different company, more pieces.
Same, place on dry to make sure fit,clean area to be worked on, dry, promoter, peal, stick.

Thanks for the link to edash. The price of theirs was $143 and price of veneerz is $225 thats $82 bucks!!! (helps me make a better choice)
