Contemplating neon kit...

But I'm doing the whole shabang... underbody and wheel well. Tried doing a search on here but I could only find pics of the underbody kits. Anyone do wheel well yet or both? Trying to get a visual on my next mod...

Most OTC neon kits are going to put one tube on each side of the car, one in front and one in back. It looks like half your lights are out, it serves no purpose what-so-ever. It's illegal to drive with them on and if you do park and turn them on you will be laughed at because 100% of the time the consumer does not spend the time and money to do then right.

A lot of people do this mod, if done right it looks really good. If going to a big show, something other than a show and shine, they have specific classes for this kind of stuff. As far as it being illegal to drive with them one, some states allow it, in NC you can drive with them on as long as they are not blue or red. Just because its not stuck on with 3M tape doesn't mean its not a worth while modification. More and more companies are stearing away from the neon though and LED and cold cathode tubes are the way to go.

Digital, I've bee looking at getting some green wheel well lights for my hhr, as well as some other accents. I found Streetglow.com to have a lot of helpful pictures and products as well as a forum with some how-tos and nice people. The forum also has state-by-state laws on underbody lights and the like. Do what you want with your car, have fun with it.

Well I seen some pics of the complete set (under car and wheel well) on some vehicles and I thought it look pretty damn good. With all 8 lights on, it looked like the car was floating on lights. Plus my mod shop is giving me a nice deal... both kits, multi L.E.D. by the way, $300 installed... And I highly doubt I'll get laughed at, I've yet to hear one negative thing about Black Betty. And if someone does laugh well then &%$@ them, I'm doing it for me, not them... Bam a Lam! lol
