Custom rear window project

18 guage cold drawn steel...run through an english wheel a few times both directions to give it the same curve as the window(used a repalcement window for template)thanx Carm(APPLE AUTO GLASS)..after considering welding up the back end..I decided instead of making this a permanent thing..made a "window cover"so to speak....to save on time and mess I have had some paint for ol pyro(factory match)canned up in a few rattle cans...I figured Id show a few folks how easy it really can be to achive that great finish on aftermarket parts the easy way.....weather looks good tomorrow for priming and paint..Ill post more as I go...to stick it to the window Im using an acrilic based adhesive..its the same junk that holds your winshield in place so it will hold.....[IMG][/IMG]

+1 for using an English wheel! I've heard those things can take off a finger without hesitating...
