I so want round headlights...
This appears to be a whole lotta work. But, they will look pretty darn cool when you are finished!
Yes cause i'm taking my time to do it right by filling the headlight holes so that it looks original.
What are you going to do for the turn signal/parking lamps?
I'm not sure how you are going to fill in the "oval" stock hole and cut in a round hole for the new light, but once you are satisfied with the new look of it you might consider pulling a mold of it. That way you would have a very strong 1 piece bumper facia with no chance of cracking around the "patch". Fiberglass front bumpers are pretty simple as far as the attachment to the car.
The question was asked about turn signals and parking lights. Someone makes a round headlight with signals and marker lights built in. I've seen them on a bunch of hiboy roadsters |

The turn signal is built in. Or i was gonna put em in the fog lights. i'm gonna fill the oval holes the same way i did my bumper horns. Fiberglass cloth and resin, then fiberglass then bondo. it will be marvelous. |

Resin cloth but not happy with this so i'm gonna cut the headlight plastic part from the bumper where the side marker is (the bumper will now just be the bottom) rivet the headlight to the fender and start my fiberglass from the top of the fender. The fender will be one piece down to the side marker wich will be nicer and stronger. |
