I have this odd look to the Bow Tie emblems ....not sure what it is sense It looked like that when I bought the HHR.
Is these a way to remove the clear? plastic part ,is it glued on?
Any advice is appreciated.

By the way, that plastic is not clear, it's amber. That's where the gold color comes from.

I'm thinking about using and outdoor use high intensity glow in the dark paint

Go for it, doing mods are fun.

Prep is the key, make sure it's super clean and I'd lightly sand it with some fine sandpaper. Also make sure the paint you are choosing has good adhesion to plastic. Might even want to give it a couple coats of clear for durability.

It's been about 8 years now and I'll have to do them again... Not a bad run considering it's not garage kept.
