can even get them through your dealer if you want to be bent over.

Yeah, for about $275.00. That's what the "other party's" insurance company paid for the set I have.

Looks great :thumb: Has more of a menacing look to it now. I also think this looks better on non-black colored HHRs as it shows more of a contrast. When we had our black 1LT we shot a side by side of our car and a Fall Edition and it didn't seem that different.

The amber bulb change could have something to do with it though.

Chevy dealer quoted me $280 for one, and $265 for the other, mine was $321/both shipped. $141 for one, $138 for the other, plus shipping ($21/ea :( ). I did find a place selling them for like $150/ea but then shipping was $25. So yeah they are very expensive and in the end they are all gonna be around $300-350 (more if you go to your local dealer) unless you got a friend at the GM dealer.

Damronjr, you just might want to try and find a set of factory style after market headlights and try painting the inside of the housings. But then you have to buy the after market factory replacements to even attempt painting the insides, if you screw up your out the money on the after market factory lights. They say the GM factory headlights are next to impossible to pull apart. I thought about trying it but I'm not keen on baking headlights in my oven I use for cooking. The How to post I saw gave a difficulty level of 7 out of 10.

love the look. you seem to keep buying the things i want.

thinking of the yellow lens part missing, Anyone know if it would be possible to break it out of the regular headlamp (without taking it apart) and then just using a chrome/amber bulb?

I have thought about it more then one to get that all chrome look...

yeah a mod i did aside from pulling the bumper off. im very happy with...... guess the price you pay for the unique style is a P.I.T.A. way to do simple things like changing a headlight bulb:cool:

I hear you, I got enough headaches with the 96 5 spd awd eagle summit van I forged the engine in and turbo charging with a 20g after I get some miles on it. Nice and easy is good some times when you got multiple projects going on
