Yeah, I'll take some help with a color. Mine is Sandstone and I was thinking of doing something close to that color so the contrast ins't too much. Any suggestions?

Depending on what your local sign/graphics shop carries, but I would suggest Oracal 851 either 922 Brass or 925 Pale Gold. You want to use a metallic vinyl unless you choose white or black (which I don't suggest for Sandstone).

Thank you sir! I'll have to find out where my local graphic shop is, and visit them.

Thanks. I was originally going to use something more subtle but decided on more contrast. I am very happy that I did.

OK Beaux, I just got off the phone with the dude that apparently does alot of the vinyl work for the local auto body shops. He said the same thing about the curves and body lines but was also going to stop by one of the dealerships and give the HHR a look-see. I guess I don't have much of an option other than what he tells me since I can't do this myself, so I have to ask....how much time did this take? How much patience are you talking about? If he can't do it then I'm SOL.

Hey jayhawker, nothing ventured nothing gained. The only thing you have to loose is a little cash. Go slow and follow the instructions (which is something I usually don't do) and I'll bet it'll come out great.
Post some pics.

See ya down the road

It took 2 guys about 5 hours to do. That includes cutting, weeding & masking the vinyl. Patience is the second most important step in the process, first being cleanliness.
