actually its not far off..they only open a few inches at first then swing up..the action on them is good..no effort atall..just have to make sure sumbody doesn't yank on the door and bend the Jesus out of the hinge
Im really happy with them..they look cool on a panel..not sure if Im the first panel to do it but happy I did..works great for advertising

Not my thing for sure but glad you like them.

I do have another quick mod you can do though. Color match the plastic part of the spokes on your Platinums . You probably already know this but they are held on via allen heads from the underside.

You may have just made Platimums another option for me if I ever get around to swapping wheels.

I would color match mine but I do not think they would show up at all since my car is dark grey and I have the matte black ones.

I would get the matte black ones also, and put a white-yellow-orange-black gradient on the inserts.
