GPS Mount

Probably been around before but would like some ideas on how or where to mount a GPS. New owner and just getting my feet wet. Rigging for towing behind motor home.

I mounted the disc up between the air ducts above radio, easy to get to and I can read it, the windshield mount was to far away, welcome aboard

I use the window cup and position the unit where the left lower corner just overlaps the flat spot of the boost gage pod ( but not the gage)..found this the best place so its not obstructng and easy to see..and hear too as the speaker bounces off the corner of the dash

I shut the rubber tab on the sucker pad base into the front of my center console compartment. It stays put just fine. In a pinch, my GPS by itself will stay in the slot between the steering wheel and the gauges.

Thanks for the advice I know I am going to like and really use this site, especially the ones with a sence of humor. At my age a good chuckle keeps the blood moving.

I use both paper, and the navigation on my droid. I have the car cradle for it that I mount on the dash between the A pillar and the cluster. The nice thing about using that set up is that when I use the phone as my audio source, the directions will play through the speakers.
