Headlight comparison...

So... My headlights on my SS are terrible. The original owner didn't take care of them. The oxidation has demolished them. I tried to restore them with all kinds of different compounds, buff pads, ext. Even wet sanded them and they look much better but, they still don't make me happy.

So, my question is... are the SS and LT etc. headlights the same?

I want to just replace them altogether. The black depo's are popular but they just aren't my favorite especially on my silver car in the pic's i've seen.

Did some searching for SS headlights. Funny how just adding the "SS" in the search bar automatically raises the price the base model lights look the same to me. Maybe i'm crazy.

The headlamps are the same for LS/LT/SS models.

Left side lamps are GM pn 15827441

Right side lamps are GM pn 15827442

Pop those numbers into google, both aftermarket and OEM units are plentiful.

Check the Classifieds section - there is at least one set of headlights for sale there.

You might like the black DEPO HHR headlights, look for them on ebay, they are cheaper than GM.

They're even cheaper on Amazon, at least they were when I looked at them earlier this week.
